The Kingsville Police Department invites all citizens to join us in remembering and honoring Patrolman Sherman Otto Benys, Jr., who gave his life in the line of duty on November 4, 2021. As we approach November 4, recognized as “Patrolman Sherman Otto Benys, Jr. Day,” we ask the community to wear blue in his honor and to reflect on his sacrifice and service to our community.
